Journal Reversal

Journal Reversal is not included within Automate's AP Automation Suite. Contact if you are interested in learning more about this feature.

Installation

The Journal Reversal feature is available as a NetSuite Bundle that can be downloaded and installed in your NetSuite environment after a license has been purchased.

  1. Log into your NetSuite account with the Administrator role

  2. Navigate to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles

  3. Search for the keyword 289946

  4. Click on the bundle name (SQW Automate: Journal Reversal)

  5. Press Install

  6. On the Preview Bundle Install screen, press Install Bundle

  7. You will be redirected to a list of installed bundles in your account. Wait for the bundle to install. Once installed, you will see a green check mark in the status column.

Configuration

Permissions

You have full control to change which employees have the ability to use the Journal Reversal Bundle. Permissions can be updated by following these steps:

  1. Log into your NetSuite account with the Administrator role

  2. Navigate to Customization > Scripting > Script Deployments. Expand the filters section and choose User Event in the type drop down. Make sure all other drop downs have “- All –“ selected.

  3. In the list of records below, find the row with the id customdeploy_sw_jer_main. Click Edit on that record.

  4. On the Audience subtab, you can select specific Roles, Subsidiaries or Employees to grant access to the Journal Reversal Bundle. By default, all roles with access to view and create Journal Entries will have the ability to use the bundle.

  5. After making updates, press Save
